HI! I'm Tanya, a children's book illustrator and surface designer based in Valencia, Spain. I've been drawing for over 10 years, and my favourite audience is the tiniest ones, toddlers and little kids
I use simple shapes and bold colours, and I'm always looking for that balance between cute and funny. There's something I love about the naivety of illustration for very young children it gives me room to be playful, a little silly, and to hide a small story behind every illustration
My process starts with pencil on paper, then moves to iPad and Procreate. I've worked with publishers including Auzou, Sourcebooks, Little Bee Books, Rockridge Press, and Duopress on board books, activity books, and creative kits. My patterns have ended up on products around the world, including a textile collection at H&M Home
